Asus ROG X13 GV301

I bought a new laptop - not top of the range but not a complete crud either :) Since I've used only Intel CPUs in the past 10 years or so I thought I should get my hands on AMD. And so I found this little gem with AMD Ryzen 9, 6k series and AMD Radeon integrated graphics. I could have got a dedicated graphics card too but since I don't play games I opted for the cheaper version :)

My biggest problem was to get kernel going on my Gentoo setup. I did spent rather a long time trying to compile my kernel based purely on lspci but then in a eureka moment I realized that I could just re-use kernel from the LiveGUI USB image - available here https://www.gentoo.org/downloads/ . So I downloaded it, mounted it and copied the kernel .config over to my /usr/src/linux and voila the kernel suddenly supported my hardware including touch screen.
